Sunday, June 26th to Tuesday the 28th.
Okay, so it is up and running for three days free. There's a sample below. When done click on the title if you want to read more. Like I said, in my earlier post, it's only my third short story. Well fifth if you count the too flash fiction pieces I included in this publication.
A few words here and there were needing to be changed into past tense words and they should show up later in the day or the next. I sent an update into kindle. I'm still learning and trying to better myself at the craft so any reviews will help greatly.

With
a bloody hand, the android followed Jeremy as they walked along the
fluorescent lit corridor. It had no expression. Its tailored suit was
rustled from the scuffle with Jeremy about forty-five minutes earlier
in front of the ten-story building.
Getting Jeremy to meet him outside was
easy. He just called and said, “Meet me out front of your apartment
building. I know where your child is.” Once at the meeting, Jeremy
demanded right away to know where his son was. The android did not
answer him as quickly as Jeremy would have liked, so Jeremy swung at
him. The swing was blocked and the Android hit Jeremy with all the
strength its circuits allowed. Jeremy's nose began immediately
bleeding as he hit the pavement.
He couldn't get up from the ground and
had only raised himself up a few inches before collapsing. The
android lifted him up and dragged him into the car as Jeremy lingered
between a conscious and unconscious state. When he was able to walk,
the Android told him to go back to his apartment. The android
followed with his fist balled for a while, then as the threat of
Jeremy trying to attack waned, the android let his right hand relax
open.
Jeremy walked down the corridor with
blood smeared down his sleeve where he had wiped his nose and face as
clean as he could. Jeremy neared his apartment door.
The android realized that gaining
Jeremy's trust somewhat would be a wise thing to do for this next
part of the plan. “I held your nose shut so that it would help stop
the bleeding until you fully recovered.”
The words were heard by Jeremy, but
none of the words said the location of his son. Jeremy turned the
knob to his apartment.
Unnoticed to Jeremy, a bald man sat
silhouetted against a large bay window filled with the glow from the
lit Memphis street-life below it. The same glow that silhouetted the
bald man weakly landed on Jeremy's face as he entered revealing his
dried bloody nose. He started to flick the room's light on, feeling
along the wall after entering, but the android's commanding voice
stopped him, “Don't!”
Jeremy stopped, not knowing if his
next move would end from an Android's strong punch.
The android continued, “All that
searching, Jeremy, and here I am in your living room. Are you
surprised?”
Jeremy’s look of fear from being hit
was replaced with anger. He fixated on the android, “Where’s my
son!”
“Sit down first.”
“Where is he?” Jeremy demanded.
“There on the floor beside the bald
man.”
Just as quick as the Android said
that, a sound of tape peeled away from flesh.
